Organic dietary supplement with Fo-Ti.
Our organic Fo-Ti powder (He Shou Wu) is obtained from the roots of Chinese knotweed, a climbing plant. The name "He Shou Wu" means "Man with black hair" and comes from China, where Fo-Ti has long been highly valued as an important part of traditional Chinese herbology.
Chinese knotweed primarily grows in the mountains of Central and Southern China. This precious plant is distinguished by its red stems, heart-shaped leaves and white-red flowers. Fo-Ti powder, however, is made from it's roots since this is where the valuable active substances are stored. The roots are prepared traditionally. Hereby, they are first stewed in a black bean soup, bevore they are dried and ground carefully into Fo-Ti powder. This way, a natural vegan product is produced, which is completely free from additives.
Fo-Ti powder has a bittersweet taste and can be added to smoothies, teas and juice.
